Torches Carried, Secrets Buried by Michael J. McGee - Adult
	This story holds a special place in my heart. It's the first Hybrids tale I wrote, and I still consider it one of the best. It introduces the series' other main character, Perri Larson. Perri's a slightly distant reporter, working to crack open a story. She gets far more than she bargained for, however, and she has a deep, dark secret that may shock you... As with 2 & 3 of Battle Scars, the Epilogue contains some sexual content. As with Battle Scars, it is kept intentionally vague, so the imagination gets to work. Don't read it if you'll think you'll be offended. But you probably won't; it's not graphic.
