| I have intended this work as an introduction to, and chronicle of, the life,
times and ancestry of a beautiful and unusual young woman, Chang Feng.
I developed Windy Chang (or, sometimes, Wendy Chang) as an imaginary character
over a period of years. Of course, she is not exactly human in
appearance, having a centaur's general form; but with the lower body of a very
large cat rather than one of a small horse. In specifics, there is a lot of
variation in the way people describe her. Different people have reacted to
her in different ways over the years, and they see the details of unique
objects differently, drawing different analogies in order to accommodate their
imagination which of course their senses are at the same time questioning.
Thus you will read some attributes ascribed to her by different authors, or
see some things by different artists, which seem to be contradictory. Don't
worry I certainly don't! |

| The set of stories in this directory have been written in a way differently
than most stories have ever been written. All of them were created by a
group of people in a 'Storytellers' Circle' on Brazilian Dreams.

They were all unrehearsed, unplanned, spontaneously written on-line, letting
each writer contribute his or her part, then passing on the
pencil. The results were surprisingly good!

| This is a sci-fi, furry, adventure story that I have been working on for a
while. It started as a concept for a small story that I could hack out
quickly. However, as these things sometimes happen, it grew to encompass
everything but the kitchen sink: nanotechnology, furries, unknown animals,
guerilla warfare, and socio-political ramifications. As I result, I haven't
finished it. I don't even have all I've written converted to HTML yet, but I'm
working on that. I intend to get back to work and finish the story soon! I
also have a couple of possible sequels in mind. |

| What are "Strayers?" It's the title to my idea for a Road Rover spin
off series. But don't take my word for it, listen to the explanation from
Bear, the star of "Strayers": "The highway. Unforgiving.
Endless. Forgotten. We have a lot in common. I am now a Strayer. Deputized by
the United States government to uphold the law and bring those dark elements
to justice. By any means necessary. I work in conjunction with the "Road
Rovers" and roam the highways of America. But I am not alone. There are
other "Strayers" out here. Some are Cano-Sapiens. Some are just
humans with bad attitudes. But I have an edge on all of them. I'm both."
